My boyfriend plays video games for a living. I don’t get it. I really don’t get it. I mean, no offence to geeks, but aren’t games were for sweaty, socially-maladjusted 17 year-olds? In the interests of being a good girlfriend and for my own personal growth, I played Gears of War 2 while he was reviewing it. Here is the rather embarrassing video of that experience.

That is one really ignorant comment about something you know nothing about.
There is nothing geeky about gaming, or is it for socially-maladjusted teenagers. I suggest you try to get out for your comfort zone (art) and do a little research, (1)find what geeks actually do. (2) find out the social aspect of gaming and the broad spectrum of those involved in it. Then you do not have to go around sounding ignorant.
Good for you for at least trying it. Most girls won’t give it 1 try.
